Position Summary The Skilled Trades Recruiter will support the organization by seeking out and recruiting qualified talent promarily for Facilities Resource Group, however may also recruit for Noritz America and other affiliates as assigned.
This position will handle all pre-hire onboarding tasks and may be involved in new hire orientation and ongoing employee engagement activities.
Key Roles Manage all aspects of the sourcing and outreach of qualified personnel.
Maintain a database of available applicants and open positions.
Screen/interview candidates to identify those with the required skills, abilities, personalities, and attitude to succeed.
Manage the lifecycle of the hiring process.
Facilitate and administer onboarding processes including background checks, drug screens, MVRs, etc.
Build relationships with local candidate sources including schools, associations, job fairs, recruiting events, and the like where qualified applicants may be found.
Essential Duties Develop written job descriptions and job postings.
Place job postings on various sites, with outside recruiters if needed, and other locations where targeted talent may see them.
Actively seek out additional resources for finding qualified candidates.
Monitor and update all job postings, application tracking systems, etc.
Work collaboratively to maintain website Careers pages and social media sites.
Maintain application tracking system ensuring all data is up to date, candidates are contacted timely and historical records are complete and accurate for future review.
Conduct initial phone screens of applicants and schedule qualified candidates for additional interviews and/or testing.
Initiate background checks, drug screens, employment verifications, and reference checks as requested.
Participate in new hire orientation and ongoing employee engagement activities.
Conduct recruitment analytics on a regular basis.
Support company commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity and other compliance issues.
Secondary Duties Coordinate and assist with other HR adminstrative activities as needed.
Seek more efficient and less expensive work processes to contribute toward overall profit.
Research and develop resources that create a timely and efficient workflow.
Collaborate with HR management regarding continuous process improvement and strategic projects within the recruitment function.
Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by senior management.
May be asked to travel on occasion (5-10%).
Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

years of recruiting experience required.
2
years of skilled trades recruiting highly preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite:
Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel as well as online recruitng sites and search engines.
Work Environment The Skilled Trades Recruiter will generally work in-office, but may have occasion to visit job sites, career fairs, schools, etc.
