Seasonal Housekeeper - Summer Camp 2019

Responsibilities:

GREAT LAKES CENTER CLEANING DUTIES

Clean Great Lakes Center hallways and stairs daily.

Clean Great Lakes Center lower level.

Check and touch up restrooms in Great Lakes Center each afternoon.

Clean glass windows in Great Lakes Center

Vacuum carpet

Empty waste cans in activity room daily.

Spot mop Great Lakes Center floors as needed.

Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and inform supervisor of needs.

Dispense supplies to counselors and program buildings.

Make sure paper supplies are replenished in public restrooms.

Clean linen room area as needed and prepare linen for laundering after each camp.

Launder soiled camper bedding.

Launder counselor staff clothing as needed

LITTLE PINE S LODGE CLEANING DUTIES

Clean Little Pine s Lodge restrooms daily.

Dust, vacuum, sweep, and clean Little Pine s Lodge

Clean glass on all doors and windows

Clean kitchen counter tops, sink, drinking fountain, and table tops daily.

Sweep kitchen floor and spot mop

Remove trash to exterior containers daily.

Secure needed cleaning supplies and restroom supplies from Head of Housekeeping.

REGISTRATION OFFICE CLEANING DUTIES after each registration day

Clean glass on all doors and windows

Clean counter tops

Sweep floor and spot mop

Remove trash to exterior containers daily.

Clean and restock bathroom

Follow daily cleaning routine as included in this job description. Additional cleaning may be required within time allotment.

All other duties as assigned by your Supervisor or Camp Administration.

Qualifications

Ability to work alone and be self-motivated.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
